Create your map from the OpenAgenda connector

OpenAgenda is an online and participatory calendar tool that allows you to list events, related to a manifestation or news, and present them on a map.

You can create a calendar according to your criteria, integrate it into your website and choose which events you decide to display on your map.

Since the calendars are pre-formatted, you don't have to do any layout for your events: they are displayed directly on the map.

🗓️ Access the OpenAgenda connector

1. Create a map from the menu "Create" > "Map"
2. Rename it then click on "Save my map"
3. Create a list from the menu "Create" > "List"
4. Select "Connect an app"
5. Search for "OpenAgenda V2" and click on "Connect"

🔗 Connect your calendar to Wemap

1. Enter the name of your list
2. Retrieve the URL of your calendar and paste it in the associated field
3. Add your OpenAgenda public key after the URL:

• Go to OpenAgenda
• Log in to your account
• Access the settings, by clicking on your profile name, at the top right
• Click on "View your API keys"
• Copy your public API key
• Return to Wemap Pro and add "&key=YOUR-PUBLIC-KEY" at the end of the URL (replace "YOUR-PUBLIC-KEY" with the value of your key)

4. Choose an icon (2 possible choices):

• Always display an icon: you can customize this icon by uploading your own file (JPEG, PNG format) or choose from the list.
• Display a preview of photos or videos: if one or more points have an image or video property (URL format) in your file, you can choose to display its thumbnail rather than an icon on your map by checking this option.

5. Click on "Connect".
