What is tag visibility?

The visibility of a tag corresponds to how your tag will appear on the map.

It can be visible in several places, depending on your choices.

When setting up your map, you have the possibility to configure the visibility of a tag on your map.


Here are the different tag visibility options:


  • Feature

The tag is highlighted at the top of the filter panel, between the search bar and the results list.

Example below: "Education"

  • Display in search engine

The tag appears in the list of different search engine filters.

  • Display in detailed view of a place

When clicking on a point / place, the tag is displayed in the point information, at the bottom of the sidebar.

Example below: "Museum"

  • Display in detailed view of an event

When clicking on an event, the tag is displayed in the event information, at the bottom of the sidebar.

Example below: "Free", "On-site", "Self-guided tour"

  • Highlight in place view

When clicking on a point, the tag appears below the name and address, before the description, in the sidebar.

Example below: "Theater"

  • Display in Introduction Popup

When you activate an introduction popup when opening the map, the tag is highlighted in the dedicated space to allow easy use of the filter.

Example below: "Favorite", "First participation"...
