Create your map from the Facebook connector

Easily locate posts from the Facebook account of your choice by displaying them on a map via the dedicated connector.

💡You can choose to display posts from a Facebook page, an event, or a group.

Step 1: Create a list by choosing the Facebook connector

Step 2: Connect / Synchronize Facebook and Wemap

Name your list then enter the URL:

- To display all posts from a Facebook page, use the username or page URL.

- To display posts from a Facebook group, use groups/group id

- To display posts from a Facebook event, use event/event id

Step 3: Choose an icon (two possible options)

• Always display an icon

You can customize this icon by uploading your own file (JPEG, PNG format) or choose from the list.

• Display a preview of photos or videos

If one or more points have an image or video property (URL format) in your excel file, you can choose to display the thumbnail instead of an icon on your map by checking:

"Display a preview of photos or videos"

For other points, an icon is displayed on the map. You can customize this icon by uploading your own file (JPEG, PNG format) or choose from the list.

Step 4: Connect

💡 Please note that there is no retroactivity, the list will only contain posts published after its creation. It should also be noted that only geolocated posts (or events) will appear on your Wemap map. This information is managed from the Facebook account.
