Should I check the "Enable synchronization" option when I connect an app?

When creating a list via a connector ("Connect an app"), once you've entered the file URL, you need to proceed to the mapping phase.

Before validating the creation (or update) of the list, options are available at the end of the setup process.

Among them, the "Enable synchronization" option allows you to automate data synchronization between the source file and your list, at a frequency determined in advance.

E.g.: if the synchronization frequency is set to every hour, if a modification is made in the source file at 4:30 PM, it will be synchronized and visible in your list and your map at 5:00 PM.

This allows you to keep your map constantly up to date, which is useful when data is regularly updated.

Conversely, if your data is static and doesn't require updates, you can uncheck the option.

πŸ“Œ Please note:

As with all lists, if the location information (address, latitude, longitude) for certain points is missing or incomplete, these points will remain in draft status and not "Published".
