Create a list via the JSON connector
On Wemap Pro, there are different methods to create a list.
Here we present the procedure via the JSON connector.
💻 Create a list via the JSON connector
- Go to the "Create"> "List" page
- Select the "Connect an app" method.
- Choose "JSON", then click on "Connect".
- Paste the URL of the JSON file, then click on the icon on the right to validate.

Click on the object in the "JSON" section on the left so it gets added to "Current path"
E.g.: click on "features (10 objects)" so it gets added to "Current path"
- Click on "Choose this path".
- Enter the name to give this list in the "Name" field.
- Perform the mapping between the values (from the JSON file) and the properties (required by Wemap Pro).
📖 Good to know:
The properties "Unique ID", "Name", "Latitude", "Longitude", "Address" are mandatory.
The result preview allows you to get a glimpse of the display following the mapping.
- Customize the following information:
- Choice of an icon to display by default
- Display choice:
- Always display an icon
- Display a preview of photos or videos
- Other options
- Import only feed items that contain an image.
- Enable synchronization:
- Set an update interval: 5 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week.
- Click on "Connect".
The list is then created: find it in "Manage" > "Lists".
You can now add the list to your map.
