Add audio to the description of a point

To offer a more immersive experience to your users, it is possible to add audio content to your point descriptions.

2 options:

  • Add an iframe / embed code in the point description
  • Add a file in .mp3 format from the "Table" view in your list

💻 Add an iframe / embed code in a point description

  1. Retrieve / copy the iframe or embed code from the platform where the audio is hosted

👉 The process may vary depending on the platform but generally you can find the information by clicking on "Share", then on "Embed" / "Iframe" / "Embed".

  1. Access your point on Wemap Pro: "Manage" > "My points" or "Manage" > "My lists" > Find your point
  2. Select the point to which you want to add the audio
  3. In "Description", click on the "< >" icon (corresponding to "View html")
  4. Paste the iframe / embed code
  5. Click on "Save"

The audio then displays in the point description with an illustration thumbnail.

📌 Note:

If you don't want to display a visual or to adjust its size, you can modify the parameters directly in the embed code.


🎵 Add a file in .mp3 format from the "Table" view in your list

  1. Go to "Manage" > "My lists"
  2. Select the relevant list
  3. Display the "Table" view

The audio displays as an audio player in the point description:

  • The uploaded file must be in mp3 format
  • Maximum file size: 24 MB
