Object types: definition and characteristics

When you add or draw an object on a venue, you can associate an object type, properties, a level...

This article lets you know what object types are available and their characteristics.


🧷 Object types

  • Room / Stand

Allows you to identify the footprint of your object as a room in a building or a stand (specific for a trade show, fair, market...).

By associating this object type, a black dot appears in the center of the footprint when your map is in edit mode, to allow you to associate / map a POI to an object.

If applicable, the latter will then take on the object's properties: properties, levels...

The shape type to use when you draw the object is "Polygon".


  • Zone

Allows you to identify your object as a large space such as a zone or hall for example.

The shape type to use when you draw the object is "Polygon".


  • Corridor

Allows you to identify your object as a corridor.

The shape type to use when you draw the object is "Polygon".


  • Wall

Allows you to identify your object as a wall.

The shape type to use when you draw the object can be:

    • Line: if you want your walls to display in 2D on the map.
    • Polygon : if you want your walls to display in 3D on the map.
