Add a level manually in a building

Once you have drawn the footprint of your building from your venue, you can add levels to it.

These levels are not styled and therefore have no visual rendering, but they are essential for data structuring.

We present here the manual addition method for levels.

πŸ“Œ Note:

You can also opt for the addition method via a file import in GeoJSON format.

πŸͺœ Add a level manually

  1. Access the building editing for the relevant building, by clicking on the associated pencil icon
  2. Click on "+" to add a level
  3. Select "Add a level manually"
  4. Enter the required information:
    • Level name (e.g.: 1st floor)
    • Name displayed in the level selector : it appears at the bottom right on the map when selecting a building (e.g.: 1)
    • Level value: corresponds to the level on which objects will be visible (e.g.: if value = 1, objects / walls / corridors / stairs... associated with this level will take the value 1 and will therefore be visible on the 1st floor)
    • Check the "Visible" box so that the level is displayed on the map

(e.g.: if you use the same plan for different events, but level 2 is not used for one of them, you can uncheck this option to prevent this level from appearing on the plan for that event)

    • Draw the level footprint inside the building footprint
  1. Click on "Add a level"
