Create and edit categories
Category styling is only possible when you add new icons: it does not work if you use standard Wemap icons.
In fact, icons become categories: if you associate a category icon with a POI, the latter will then take on the characteristics of the category on the map once mapped.
🎨 Create categories
- Go to the category creation page: "Create" > "Category"
- Add a category name
- Upload the icon to associate
📌 Please note:
If you associate one of these icons with a POI, the latter will automatically take on the characteristics of the category.
🖊️ Edit categories
- Go to the category management page (if already existing): "Manage" > "My categories"
You will find your icons associated with POIs there (see video above)
- Click on the pencil icon of the desired category
- Add a category name
- Click on "Add"
👉 You can also modify the icon of an existing category from this page, by uploading another visual in the dedicated space, below "Category name".
