Enable and configure augmented reality for mobile use
From Wemap Pro, you can activate and configure augmented reality for mobile use only.
🔛 Activate augmented reality (AR)
- Go to "Manage" > "My maps"
- Select the relevant map
- Access the "Services and search" menu, then the "Augmented reality" section
- Check the option "Activate augmented reality (mobile only)"
⚙️ Configure augmented reality
After activating augmented reality, setting options appear below:
- Use a button to switch between map view and augmented reality:
- Enable the option if you want AR to trigger only when clicking on a button (symbolized by a pinpoint framed by four corners)
- Otherwise, it will activate automatically when the phone is raised and deactivate when the camera is oriented towards the ground
- Display radius of pinpoints in augmented reality:
- Configure the display radius distance of points in AR
- Augmented reality configuration:
- Specify whether AR applies to an indoor or outdoor environment
