View information about a point in augmented reality

If augmented reality is enabled on your map, users can use this view to view POIs located around them.


🀳 Using augmented reality to search for and view a POI

  1. Access the map from your phone
  2. Raise your phone (at least 45Β°) or click on the button at the bottom right to trigger AR (depending on the map's AR settings)
  3. Orient the phone to use the "radar" view allowing you to:
    • View the points present on the map
    • Orient yourself towards a point
    • Access useful information about a point without having to touch the screen (distance to the point, direction, or even the schedules of upcoming arrivals in the case of a bus stop)
  1. Keep the blue dot in a fixed position for a few seconds on the point of your choice to open its detailed information

  1. Lower your phone (camera pointed towards the ground) to return to the map view

If multiple points are located in the same area / direction, the display is organized so as not to overlap them to ensure good visibility: the points can be organized on 3 display levels.
