Some points from my file are not displaying on the map after an Excel / SpreadSheet import

When importing your Excel file / Spreadsheet, some points may not publish or may not publish correctly.

In this case, an error message appears in the top right of your screen:

To resolve this, first, please check the following elements:

  • The first line of your spreadsheet must only be used to enter column titles (= POI properties)
  • Your file must not contain merged cells
  • The following 3 properties are essential:
    • ID: with a unique number per line (only with the GoogleSheets connector)
    • Name
    • Address:
      • You can enter a literal address and/or GPS coordinates for the address
      • If the address is not precise or incomplete, the POI may be incorrectly placed or may not appear on the map. In this case, it may end up in your drafts, awaiting correction.

πŸ’‘ Tip:

If you find certain points in another country when they should be located in France, use the country concept in your addresses: for example, add "France" after the city name.
