Create a layer / resource (data layer) to delineate an area
A layer allows you to delineate and highlight a territory on the map (department, region, country...).
From Wemap Pro, you can create a layer by importing a GeoJSON format file.
π Please note:
- The GeoJSON format is the current standard for describing geographic data and its attributes, being easily integrable into web applications.
- Before importing, make sure that the file complies with the GeoJSON standard and that its size remains reasonable for the web (< 2MB).
- Online tools exist to help you reduce the size of such a file (e.g.: mapshaper.org) or to convert different formats to GeoJSON.
